OS ALAMITOS, Calif., 20 October, 2011 – The IEEE Computer Society has expanded coverage of its 14 peer-reviewed journals by launching a new webpage with free articles and multimedia.

What’s New in Transactions provides a quick and easy overview of the Computer Society’s peer-reviewed journals, letting anyone:
• Read free articles from each title,
• View and listen to new multimedia,
• Learn about recent special issues and special sections, and
• Discover open calls for papers.

Among the new features are Spotlight Papers, a showcase of recent journal papers that are offered for free for a limited time; and the Volunteer Spotlight, a series of in-depth interviews with current and former journal editors.
